Cultural heritage
The potential for discovery and conservation of cultural heritage is largely dependent on geological history, as well as on the type of impact that each human era has had on the territory
Geo Logica has tools for geophysical prospecting applied to archaeological research; these analyzes allow the identification of ancient sites and objects buried in the ground, not visible from the surface and often allow us to understand the extension, thickness and structure of the archaeological deposit without resorting to destructive intervention.
Our group specializes in identifying geological forms favoring human settlements, mainly using remote sensing from drones. With these techniques, thanks to the use of airborne sensors, the spatial and spectral relationships of objects arranged in a given place can be described in a synoptic manner, using data collected by drones and satellite images.
